PRIVACY STATEMENT
BODYWAY™ and THE ALIVENESS INSTITUTE is a comprehensive, whole-body program that will take you to wholeness through the pathway of your food and weight struggles. The BodyWay Support Forum’s purpose is to build a community of individuals who are interested in utilizing their food and weight issues to uncover their deepest core selves. It does this by providing a place to share our hope, inspiration, success and challenges.
EMAIL ADDRESSES
If you share your email address with us, it will only be used to communicate with you about BodyWay™ and The Aliveness Institute related events and will not be shared with any other business or persons for any reason.
COMMUNITY FORUM
Please remember that any information that you disclose in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
BodyWay™ and The Aliveness Institute uses a software package that is thoroughly equipped to handle the infringement of member privacy. The following precautions have been put into place:
- While guests may have access to some of the informational forums, only members have access to the BodyWay Support Forums where you will be posting. There is no guest access to the support forums.
- In the Profile section of your membership page, you can change your personal settings. You have the option to hide your email address from the public, use an imaginary name, correspond privately with other members without others knowing, and more. To change these settings go to My Account > Personal Settings > Email Settings.
- While we have made every attempt to keep posts from appearing in legitimate search engines, there are search engines that ignore robot.txt files, so we cannot guarantee that this will not happen. The chances of this happening are slight, however.
- Our posts are monitored to ensure member safety. Your passwords are stored with encryption, your email address is never published and there are a handful of other security/privacy related features designed to promote safe and healthy online communities.
With all this said, if you are still concerned about your safety and anonymity, BodyWay Online suggests you use an anonymous name and establish a special email address for the purpose of participating in our community.
Although we have done all we can to protect the anonymity of our members, we cannot be responsible for “accidents” that might occur as a result of the technology associated with participating in discussion forums on the Internet. By participating in this Forum, you have agreed to NOT hold The Aliveness Institute, any of its employees or associates responsible for any infringement on your personal safety and identity.

You may request to have your BodyWayOnline.com login information removed from our system provided that you have given us enough information to verify your request. This can be done by providing us with a valid email address when you create your login.
